Renee Zellweger has signed on to reprise her role as the lovable Bridget Jones. Production should start in late 2010 with release in 2011.

The plot is expected to follow author Helen Fielding's newspaper articles which have Bridget wanting to get pregnant while in her 40's.

Fielding is currently working on Bridget Jone's: The Musical in London.

Colin Firth and Hugh Grant have not been confirmed to co-star.

I am so excited about this, Bridget Jone's Diary is my favorite book AND movie and I love Renee Zellweger and Colin Firth together.

Karl Malden, best known for roles in A Streetcar Named Desire and On the Waterfront and the TV series The Streets Of San Francisco, has died aged 97. The Oscar winning actor died in his sleep in his Los Angeles area home.

Billy Mays funeral will be held Friday in his hometown of McKees, PA.
