Joaquin Phoenix and Jennifer Connelly were spotted shooting opening scenes this past Tuesday, Oct. 3, for their upcoming film, Reservation Road. Joaquin and Jennifer, play the characters of Mr. & Mrs. Ethan at the Olde Bluebird Inn and Olde Bluebird Garage in Easton, CT.

Reservation Road is about two families who become intertwined when the father from one kills the son of the other in a hit-and-run accident. The film will be directed by Terry George (Hotel Rwanda) and also stars Mark Ruffalo and Mira Sorvino.

Picture is a little blurry and not sure I'm liking the beard thing, but he's hotter than EVER. Looks like he lost some weight. Dah dum. Hopefully lots more pictures will be out. Never did see too many from "We Own the Night".
