Last in the news announcing her "engagement" to Tila Tiquila (wtf?), TMZ is reporting she has been found dead today in LA.

Daughter of New York Jets owner, Woody Johnson, she was arrested in November for grand theft, her previous girlfriend Courtenay Semel beat her up and set fire to her hair, she accused her aunt of stealing her boyfriend. Wow! All that and she was only 30 years old.

And of course, Tila has already "tweeted": "Everyone please pray for my wifey Casey Johnson. She has passed away. "

I think it's too late for prayers.

Patrick Swayze has lost his battle with pancreatic cancer today at age 57.

TMZ is reporting that Adam Goldstein (DJ AM) was found dead in his apartment earlier today. After not seeing him for a few days a friend checked on him. Firefighters entered the apartment and found his body.

Despite saying he had been sober for years, a crack pipe was found in the bathroom and prescription drugs in the kitchen.

You may remember, he and Travis Barker were the only survivors last September when the private plane they were riding in, crashed and burned on take off.

David Carradine died during auto-erotic asphyxiation that went wrong, according to sources in Bangkok, Thailand, where he was found dead on Thursday. A Bangkok police officer speaking to the newspaper The Sun, said "A rope was attached to his neck and also to his penis".
Carradine's body was discovered in a hotel suite and local reports suggested he committed suicide.

But a statement from Carradine's representative now indicates the actor died during a sex act.
The spokesperson tells TMZ.com, "We can confirm 100 per cent that he never would have committed suicide. It was an accidental death. Everybody is in shock."

In a statement on behalf of her family, Martha Plimpton - the daughter of Carradine's brother Keith - says, "My Uncle David was a brilliantly talented, fiercely intelligent and generous man. He was the nexus of our family in so many ways, and drew us together over the years and kept us connected. I adored him as a child, and as an adult I admired and respected him. "We will all miss him terribly, and are so grateful for everyone's condolences. The passing of someone so loved is extremely difficult under any circumstances."

His career in radio spanned more than seven decades, during which time countless millions of listeners were both informed and entertained by his “News & Comment” and “Rest of the Story” features. Even after the passing of his loving wife Angel in May 2008, Paul would not slip quietly into retirement as he continued to take the microphone and reach out to his audience. We will miss our dear friend tremendously and are grateful for the many years we were so fortunate to have known him. Our thoughts and prayers are now with his son Paul Jr. and the rest of the Harvey family.

I can remember at 12:30pm hearing, "Stand by for NEWS!"

The last few weeks I've been listening to Paul every morning on my way to work. Every day at 4:59 am I hear "and now you know, the rest of the story".

I'm sure I'm not the only one who will miss his distinctive voice and way of speaking.

Jett Travolta, son of John Travolta has died.

He was 16 years old. Rarely photographed and rumored to be austic he reportedly suffered a seizure in the Bahamas while on vacation, was taken to Rand Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead.

Sciontology claims another victim. Too bad Tom Cruise wasn't around, since he's the only one who can help.

She died in New York while being treated for colon cancer.

After suffering a heart attack last week,
Bettie Page has died.

She had went into a coma, didn't regain consciousness and passed away last evening.

Last week it was reported that Mark Ruffalo's brother had been shot and was in critical condition. On Monday life support was removed and he died. Evidently from a self inflicted wound he received while "playing" Russian Roulette. (Seriously? people ACTUALLY do this?)

Yesterday Macaulay Culkin's older sister, Dakota was killed in a traffic accident.

How sad for both families.

Anthony Hart, brother of Pink's ex-husband Carey Hart,
died yesterday August 9 at the age of 21.


Stafford Motor Speedway, which issued a statement around 7:00 p.m. that read: "It is with deep regret that the Stafford Motor Speedway announces that during a practice session of the AMA/XTRM sanctioned SuperMoto Event, being held today, rider Anthony Hart, age 21 of Henderson, Nevada, succumbed to injuries received while participating in the event. The Speedway extends their condolences to the family and friends of Anthony Hart."
