He has always been considered a bohemian actor who isn’t afraid to go against the grain. Joaquin Phoenix’s roles in Gladiator, Signs, The Village, Ladder 49, and most recently the Academy Award-winning Walk the Line have catapulted Joaquin into A-list status. We feel that Joaquin’s canine reflects the complex characters portrayed in his films. Wonder if Joaquin painted this dog while still in character as Johnny Cash?

So I really wanted to bid on this dog. I forgot the auction started a few days ago, but my gosh it's already this highest at $3550.00??? My man rocks. Nick Lachey painted his like a baseball player but it doesn't have any bids. hee hee. Neither does Julieanne Moore, stupid idiot Rachal Ray (with an opening bid of $1000??? wtf? Yucky Mimi and Debra Messing's next bid will be $550 and Snoop Dogg will be $650. My husband is in the lead!!!!

I wonder how much the others went for in the live auction?
Damn, $4000.00 is too rich for my blood without anything extra (like a phone call)or even knowing how big this dog is.
